FARM & WOODLAND WALK

OPEN FROM 10AM TO 4PM

The walk has been designed to show you the beauty of the best parkland and woodland that Shropshire has to offer. If you follow the longest red route it will take about one hour and if you take the purple shortcut it will take you about half an hour. If you stick to the red route you will be entirely on dry land. The orange sections marked on the plan will give you a bit of paddling so you will need wellies, or you can experience the raw pleasure of the cooling effect of pure Hopton Brook water running between your toes! There are signs and arrows to show you the way around the walk.

The management accepts no responsibility for any injury or damage to persons or property however caused and we advise the following:

  • Please wear suitable footwear.
  • Rabbit holes and hoof prints are a natural part of agricultural and woodland landscape. Please look carefully where you are stepping.
  • Please respect the livestock and wildlife that you will meet on the way around.
  • Keep dogs on leads at all times.
  • Please shut all gates.
  • Please do not deposit litter.
  • Please stick to the route on the plan.

Thank you for your co-operation and I hope you enjoy the walk.
